Chengdu Industrial Design’s Rise: IDING DESIGN Wins Sichuan’s First Red Dot: Best of the Best

In Southwest China, Chengdu is not only a “City of Gastronomy” but is gradually becoming an innovation hub for Industrial Design. As Chengdu’s manufacturing and new economy industries integrate at a faster pace, more design companies are stepping onto the national and international stage.

Red Star Award, Good Design Award China: China’s most influential design awards, emphasizing integration with local manufacturing and promoting “Chinese Design” to the world.

DIA (Design Intelligence Award): emphasizes “design + manufacturing + social value”; winning works combine commercial viability and social significance.

These awards not only demonstrate corporate strength but also represent the growth and international recognition of Chengdu’s design industry.

It has continued to deliver benchmark cases in consumer electronics, medical devices, home appliances, and other fields.

It integrates Sichuan cultural elements (such as Bashu landscapes and Shu brocade colors) into modern product design, creating a differentiated competitive advantage.

In collaboration with Chengdu’s local manufacturing industry, it helps companies achieve market breakthroughs through product structure optimization and UX Design.

In recent years, the Chengdu municipal government has strongly promoted “Industrial Design enabling manufacturing” and introduced multiple support policies.
