As living and working spaces overlap, IDING DESIGN moves beyond single-purpose desktop lighting with a dual-use protective lamp for focused work and ambient light. Its structure and contrasting materials let it shift from an eye-care desk lamp to a vintage-inspired hanging lantern while retaining a minimal visual language.

Dual-Mode Minimal Lighting | Multi-Scenario Design for a Dual-Use Protective Lamp

As living and work blur, IDING DESIGN created a dual-use protective lamp for remote workers and students, combining focused and ambient light. A high-toughness silicone arm links shade and metal body, giving the head freedom: adjust for desk use; reverse for ambient mode. In lantern mode, light projects through micro-holes in the base, preventing glare, casting soft shadow. Brushed metal and matte black silicone keep form restrained; top handle balances and enables hanging.
