Where the dream begins
Rongyao — Torch Design Concept for The World Games 2025 Chengdu. Our “Rongyao” torch concept by Chengdu IDING Industrial Design was shortlisted for the 12th World Games torch design, after 270+ valid global entries and multiple review rounds. “Rongyao” means “Rongcheng Shines,” echoing Chengdu’s nickname and the Games’ vision of light and shared prosperity. Inspired by the hibiscus, city street life, and ancient Shu civilization, it blends Eastern imagery with international aesthetics via modern design. The form rises bottom to top in three sections.
