Project Story

Honeycomb Socket

The rhombus formed by hexagons has all obtuse angles of 109°28′ and acute angles of 70°32′. Theoretically, to use the least material and make the largest rhombic container, this is precisely the angle. In this sense, bees can be called 'genius mathematicians and designers.' Honeycomb Socket uses a modular approach to rethink the socket.
